The Silver Star Ribbon is awarded for gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States or while engaged in military operations involving conflict against an opposing armed force in which the United States is not a belligerent party. These ribbons are to be worn on Army and Air Force uniforms with Bronze, Silver Oak Leaf Cluster; Navy/Marine Corps/Coast Guard uniforms with Gold, Silver Star devices. The ribbons are made to the highest official government standards and uniform approved. All of the ribbons we have featured are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
