Silver Star Device (miniature, Unmounted)

The Silver Star Device is an attachment used in the military to be mounted on a medal or ribbon bar. This unmounted attachment comes in a silver finish and is used as a decoration with miniature medals measuring ⅛ inch in size. The device is sold in pairs and comes with a pin backing to securely and properly display amongst other medals. After service this attachment could be a great addition to a shadow box. Silver stars are given to represent receiving this award multiple times and silver is represented after the 5th time of receiving a gold star.
