USAF Pilot Wings Senior Badge Mirror Finish

This rating was instituted in 1937 as "Military Airplane Pilot." then changed to Senior Pilot. To qualify for the Senior Pilot Wings, personnel must have 7 years as a rated pilot, permanent award of pilot rating, 2,000 total hours or flight time or 1300 of any combination of primary, instructor, and/or evaluator pilot time. This badge displays the Federal Shield centered upon a pair of wings. This pin comes in an approved mirror finish, measures 3 inches, and secures to the uniform via standard 2 prong and clutch backing. This item is made, inspected, and shipped by Veterans in the USA.
