In order to qualify for this badge, recipients must participate in a minimum of 30 jumps to include 15 jams with combat equipment; two night jumps, one of which is a jumpmaster of a stick; to mass tactical jumps which culminate in an airborne assault problem; graduated from the Jumpmaster course; and served on jump status with an airborne unit or another organization authorized parachutist for a total of at least 24 months. This badge comes in a silver oxide finish, is 100% Made in the USA, and is miniature (approved for wear on ASU). The badge design includes a deployed parachute centered on a pair of wings, with the addition of a star atop the parachute to distinguish the award from the Basic Parachute Badge.
