This Rescue Swimmer badge is an official issue that is ready to be worn on any USCG uniform. Comes in a gold finish being the regulation size that measures 2 ½ inches in size. On the back of this Coast Guard insignia, there is a pin clutch backing to make sure this badge stays securely on your uniform. While this badge is made to be worn on your uniform it could also be displayed on a sports coat for formal events or added to your shadow box for display. This is a wing-style badge that displays swim fins on the middle of the badge. The Aviation Rescue Swimmer badge is awarded to all Coast Guard personnel upon completion of the Aviation Survival Technician school in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
