OH Special Service Slide on Ribbon

The Ohio Special Service Slide On Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for participation by any member of the state military forces, under orders, in a major tour active state military service in aid of civil authority in either a natural cause or civil disturbance, in upholding the law and preserving order, protecting lives and property, in aid and relief of civilians in disaster, and similar duty ordered by the governor. On January 20th, 1972 this award was authorized by GO 5. Comes in a striped color pattern that goes left to right green, white, green. Ohio Special Service Slide On Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
