This Navy Nuclear Weapons Security Badge is awarded to enlisted sailors assigned to: Strategic Weapons Facility, Personal Reliability Program, or supporting missions with the Marine Corps Security Force Battalion. To receive this badge you must complete 12 months of qualified service in the United States Navy. When years need to be demoted you place a gold star under the insignia to denote an additional year of service and a silver star to denote 5 years of qualified service. This badge has a silver oxide finish with two pins in the back to securely place this badge on your official US Navy uniform. Though this can easily be placed on official Navy uniforms like navy and white service dress, this badge looks terrific in any shadow box display. The Navy Nuclear Weapons Security badge is regulation size and is made 100 percent in the USA.
