This is a gold metal pin that is similar to the World War II Flight Surgeon Insignia, but that badge has specialized wings. This badge displays a leaf with wings on both sides decorated with an American flag. Given this badge for the work done in the medical field and medical aid comes with the privilege to wear this badge on official United States Navy uniforms. With two pins in the back, they can smoothly be placed onto your uniform and are made in the USA. This badge is important to uniform use, but can also be a new addition to your shadow box.
