The Vietnam Campaign Ribbon was established by the Government of the Republic of Vietnam and is authorized for award to members of the U.S. Armed Forces by the Department of Defense. To receive this ribbon an individual who has completed 6 months service in the Republic of Vietnam between 1961 and 1973 or if wounded, captured, or killed in action during the above period. When worn on uniform this ribbon is worn with a silver date bar. Vietnam Campaign Ribbons are made by government standards and are military-approved. All of our ribbons come unmounted and do not come with holding bars which are sold separately.
