The Marine Corps Enlisted Collar Insignia is the same general design as the officer’s insignia, except that the rope is continuously connected to the fouled anchor of the emblem. This collar insignia is for dress use while service insignia is stamped and finished in non-glossy black. Insignia has been worn on the collar since the 1870s but enlisted Marines did not have the privilege to wear these insignia until World War II. The insignia represents the Marines by a “Bird and Ball” or “Globe and Anchor” or formally known as “Eagle, Globe, and Anchor”. Can be attached to your dress wear screw on the back and is sold as a pair. These products are made, inspected, and shipped by Veterans in the USA with a gold-tone finish.
