GA Active Duty Ribbon

The Georgia Active Duty Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for service performed in a state AD status by members of the Georgia National in any state emergency; for voluntarily rendering aid, assistance, or support that results in the saving of life or property or the reduction of damages and suffering during an emergency in any community, or for rendering assistance for non-emergency state functions when called upon by the governor or the AG. Has the same authorization date and regulations as the Medal of Valor ribbon. Comes in a color pattern of maroon and white stripe ends with a blue center and the state abbreviation embroidered in the middle of the ribbon. Georgia Active Duty Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
