The Florida Recruiting Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry state ribbon. This award is earned by members of the Florida National Guard securing the enlistments or appointments of five individuals into the same on or after July 1st, 1977. This recruiting ribbon was authorized on July 1st, 1977 by PO 53-2. A corresponding medal has recently been approved for this award, but funds for procurement have not yet been allotted. Comes in a red and white pattern that measures white (3/32), red (1/16), white (1/16), red (1/16), white (1/16), red (1/16), white (1/16), white (1/16), red (1/16), and white (9/16) with four blue stars. Florida Recruiting Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
