The Air Force Air Education Training Command Instructor Badge identifies instructors assigned to technical training schools or programs that provide education and training. To qualify for the badge, the individual's primary duty assignment must be as an instructor; to be an instructor, the individual must complete instructor training requirements which include a teaching practicum. Prior AETC instructors, assigned to other AETC training or education functions, may continue to wear a previously earned AETC Instructor/Master Instructor badge. The badge design features a silver torch with red enamel flame, a pair of silver wings attached to the torch, and a white enamel star on a blue enamel background. A white enamel ring encircles the design with the inscription "AIR EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND INSTRUCTOR" in silver. This badge is official issue, comes in approved enamel finish, and secures to the uniform via standard prong and clutch back. This item is made, inspected, and shipped by Veterans in the USA.
