The Army Expert Weapons Qualification badge is awarded to qualified Army personnel who have demonstrated expertise operating Army weapons. Additional qualification bars are suspended from the Expert Weapons Qualification badge to indicate expertise operating specific weapons. This badge may be awarded to personnel of the Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard who have met qualifications. This badge is 100% USA Made with an official silver oxide finish, but is also available in a mirror finish. The badge design includes a cross pattée with a target superimposed over the center, all surrounded by a laurel wreath tied with a knot at the bottom. The badge also incorporates two small rings for easy attachment of qualification bars.
