This Army enlisted cap badge is an official issue and approved to be worn on enlisted male uniforms. This cap badge is regulation size measuring at 1 ¾” in size and has a pin clutch backing to keep it securely fastened on your uniform cap. In 1952 a blue plastic disk was authorized to the worn by enlisted infantrymen to enhance their prestige and morale. This Army insignia was originally introduced in World War I. The insignia consists of a gold disk with the national coat of arms mounted directly in the center. The Army Enlisted Cap Badge with a blue disk for enlisted males is made and handled 100 percent by Veterans in the USA.
