The Diver Badge 1st Class was brought into Navy tradition in the 1960s and has been worn on the official United States Navy ever since. To receive this badge you must meet all the requirements to become a diver and do the scheduled amount of deep sea dives to receive this badge in the 1st class rank. The Diver 1st Class badge is about 1 1/16 inches high and about 1 inch wide with a silver oxide finish. The badge displays a vintage scuba diving head girl and two fish surrounding the helmet. This is an official issue insignia of the United States Navy and is made in the USA.
