Air Force Command Space Badge

The Air Force Command Space Badge is awarded to Air Force scientists, engineers, communications, intelligence, and acquisition professionals who have performed space/missile operations, intelligence, and acquisition duties and have successfully completed the Space 100 course. In 2004 the Command Space badge replaced the Air Force Space and Missile badge. Occupupational Badges such as this Basic Acquisition Badge require enlisted personnel to complete initial skill training or possess a 5-level Air Force specialty code to wear any of the basic specialty badges. This badge is official issue, regulation size, comes in approved enamel and mirror finish, and secures to the uniform via standard prong and clutch back.
