The Air Force Presidential Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to units for extraordinary heroism in action against an armed enemy on or after Dec. 7, 1941. Ready to be worn on official uniforms and was instituted on December 2nd, 1943. The ribbon is solid blue with a gold frame that is ready to be worn on official US Army uniforms. Air Force Presidential Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
