Coast Guard Distinguished Service Ribbon

The Coast Guard Distinguished Service Ribbon is awarded to those that perform exceptional performance of duty, clearly above that normally expected, which has contributed materially to the success of a major command or project, is required. In general, the Coast Guard Distinguished Service Medal is awarded only to those officers in principal commands whose service is such as to justify the award. These ribbons are to be worn on uniforms with gold, silver star devices. The ribbons are made to the highest official government standards and uniform approved. All of the ribbons we have featured are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
