Journalist Rating

This rating was merged into the new Mass Communications Specialist rating in July 2006. Navy journalists gathered information and communicated to the military and civilian communities through radio, television, military publications and hometown papers.

The Navy Rate you receive will be Petty Officer 1st Class and you will need to cut the rank to match your Officer status.
