2nd Armored Division Enamel CSIB

This Combat Service Identification Badge is for the 2nd Armored Division of the United States Army. The enamel finish 2 inch pin is ready to be worn on Army Service Blue (ASU) Uniform. The badge displays a lighting bolt, cannon, and a tank tread which represents speed, power, and mobility. It also reads at the bottom of the pin HEEL ON WHEELS which is the nickname for this unit. The 2nd Armored Division was deactivated in 1995 but is well known for its role in World War II in the invasion of Germany, North Africa, and Sicily.
