DOT 9-11 Ribbon

The DOT 9-11 Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. The award may be made posthumously. Specifically, it may be awarded to the following authorized personnel; Coast Guard units that shifted Operational Control (OPCON) to Operations Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle or Protecting Liberty for any amount of time between September 11, 2001 and September 11, 2002, all personnel involved in patrolling harbors, critical infrastructure facilities, escorting high interest vessels, and conducting the boardings of vessels entering U.S. waters for no less than 14 days, and all personnel including active, reserve, auxiliary, and civilian personnel that manned or augmented Coast Guard, DOT, FEMA and DOD command centers including Operations Centers at Groups and above for no less than 14 days. Comes in a red, white, and blue color striped pattern and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. DOT 9-11 Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
