Air Force Gallant Unit Citation Ribbon

The Air Force Gallant Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award will normally be earned by units that have participated in single or successive actions covering relatively brief time spans. Only on rare occasions will a unit larger than a group qualify for the GUC. Extended periods of combat duty or participation in a large number of operational missions, either air or ground, is not sufficient. Subsequent awards are denoted by the addition of a bronze oak leaf cluster to the ribbon. Comes in a color pattern of red, blue, white, red, white, blue, red stripes from left to right. Air Force Gallant Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
