The Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to Navy/Marine Corps units for valorous actions or meritorious achievement (combat or noncombat). Ready to be worn on official uniforms and can be worn with bronze, silver star devices. The ribbon was officially instituted in 1967 and comes in a color pattern of thick green ends and thin gold, blue, and red stripes. Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
