USAF Judge Advocate Badge.
Awarded to officers designated as judge and advocates and also to legal officers of the Air National Guard. They must be professionally qualified-i.e. graduate of law school accredited by the American Bar Association and admitted to practice law before the highest court of a State or Federal Court. The badge identifies Air Force officers who are designated to perform legal functions for the Air Force and its ignated to perform legal functions of the Air Force and its personnel. All new judge advocate generals are required to attend the Judge Advocate Staff Officer Course at the Air Force Judge Advocate General School at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
