Authorized in 1993. This basic badge is awarded after graduating from a technical school and award of the specialty code.
Senior badge (with star and that we do not sell) is awarded to officers after 7 years in the specialty and to enlisted personal after award of the craftsman skill level.
Master badge (with star and wreath and not sold) is awardede after 15 years for officers and to E-7s or above who have performed at the craftsman skill level for at least 5 years.
