In 1958 a new Marine Pistol Marksman badge replaced the old and former Marine Pistol Marksman badge. Displays a square three-ring target suspended from a bar titled above PISTOL MARKSMAN on the bar. Similar to the rifle marksman badge but different in size by being smaller in size. This badge is awarded to someone with an expert level of skill with an official US Marine firearm, this one is a pistol, and receiving a score of 190-209 during the official examination. Measures 1 ½ inch with a shiny, mirror finish and is made in the USA.
